Action Alert: Tell Your Member Of Congress To Vote “No” On All Ex-Im Amendments

With news that manufacturing activity expanded at its slowest pace in two years, it’s clear that U.S. manufacturers need every tool available to compete in a global economy. Unfortunately, the U.S. House of Representatives will consider amendments today as part of the long-term highway bill debate that are specifically designed to derail reauthorization of the Export-Import (Ex-Im) Bank – a key tool for U.S. manufacturers to sell goods abroad and grow jobs at home.

As a reminder, an overwhelming majority of Members in both the House and Senate have voted to pass bipartisan legislation that enacts the most sweeping reforms to the Ex-Im Bank since President Ronald Reagan’s overhaul. Congress had more than a year to consider amendments to reform Ex-Im legislation. Any attempt today to pass amendments as part of the highway debate is specifically designed to block reauthorization of the Ex-Im Bank.

We need your help to let Congress know that U.S. workers and job creators cannot afford further delay on Ex-Im. Tell your Member of Congress to vote “no” on all Ex-Im amendments:

1)  Call and tell your Member to complete Ex-Im reauthorization and vote “no” on all Ex-Im related amendments. You can use our handy online tool to do so.

2) Sign a letter urging your member to complete reauthorization using our online tool.

3) Post one of the following tweets:

4) Spread the word. Let others know that they can take action to get Ex-Im reauthorized.
